LatinoHomeBuyer is an online clearinghouse of information to help home owners and buyers get answers to questions on such topics as finance, foreclosures, home inspections, selling and buying your home. LatinoHomeBuyer includes a website, blog, and LatinoHomeBuyer.TV where educational & problem solving online videos will be shown.

Recent studies have shown that minority home buyers are often charged higher loan rates, often end up getting sub-prime loans, don’t understand the process of buying a home, and don’t understand the role of the real estate agent, escrow and loan officers.  Latino home buyers often lack a “trusted advisor” to guide them through the process without being pushed to buy, sell, or refinance their homes. Often they are not given correct or timely information to help them make their biggest life time purchase.

LatinoHomeBuyer was created by John Lira to help Latino home buyers be better informed.  John is a real estate broker and internet marketing expert whose client base is largely Latino.  He realized that buyers and sellers are often manipulated or misinformed with the wrong information by commission based real estate and loan agents and banks. John’s goal is to empower the Latino home buyer and seller to take advantage of the many sources of information available online to help them make better decision which may save them money.
