LatinoHomeBuyer is about home ownership,
lifestyle and community from a Latino perspective.
For most Latinos becoming
and being a home owner is a lifetime journey of joy and
economic challenge. For a lot of Latinos being a home owner
means more than just owning or paying a mortgage on a house.
It is a
place for the entire family and friends to gather around. Whether a new
immigrant, a long time immigrant or born in the U.S.
buying a home helps you put down roots in your community,
and provides financial security and shelter for your
family, and pride of ownership and stewardship. But I
don't think this is unique to the Latino home
buyer. What I thinks makes it different and adds to
the tapestry of the home buying process is that the home
becomes the center of life, of family and
friendships.
In addition, the Latino
home buyer faces special challenges such as financial
qualifications, size of home due to size of family and of
extended family, type of decorations, landscaping, etc.
The Latino home buyer experience is also about affordability, safe neighborhoods, jobs,

owner and a non-Latino, there are differences in lifestyle, culture and

Our primary goal is to educate the Latino home
buyer and owner by introducing, educating, and providing information on products and services
that may be of interest. Another goal is to educate the service and business providers and vendors to the
